2009 Presents A Tough Challenge

2009 presented many tough challenges in the face of the economic decline. The slump in the housing market has caused many legal firms to look long hard at their work practices and seek to reduce costs and inevitably staffing levels. Underhill Langley Wright have been no exception but as a consequence we have reorganised ourselves and areas of work.

Richard Alderson at the Wolverhampton Office now deals with commercial property matters following the departure of Paul Woodman to work in Birmingham. Together with Alex Thompson they will also handle residential conveyancing matters.

Probate Wills and Trust work at Wolverhampton is headed by Stephen Carter and Alex Thompson also undertakes this work.

Sarah Martin provides litigation and matrimonial advice and appointments to see her at our Oxley and Bridgnorth offices can be arranged.

At Bridgnorth Angus Smillie is happy to advise on a broad spectrum of matters including residential and commercial property matters, wills, probate and trust work and employment disputes.

Our Oxley office is entering its 16th year and is run by Sam Davies who advises on Residential and Commercial property conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters. He now also advises the Lichfield Diocesan Board of Education on a wide range of property related matters.
